i find the hotel unique, clean and the staff is absolutely amazing and very kind. the venue has amazing and fantastic location on the bank of san pablo lake surrounded by rolling hills. plus, this venue is really close to various folkloric shops and the shore of san pablo lake and other tourist places.

We booked suite for 1 night and had a quite comfortable stay. The location for Otavalo was nice, short walk to the lake and the mountain, the mountain, and the market.

We had an incredible time staying at this lakeside inn! The location was amazing, right on the bank of a beautiful lake and with stunning views of the nearby volcano. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with cozy fireplaces to relax by. The staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. We loved exploring the nearby markets in San Antonio de Ibarra and Cotacachi, where we found high-quality handicrafts at great prices. a fantastic experience!

The only downside was the expensive dinner options in the on-site restaurant.

The highlight of my stay at Puertolago Country Inn & Resort was the breathtaking view of San Pablo Lake from my room. I couldn't get enough of the peaceful ambiance and the stunning scenery. The charm of the wood log cabins added a touch of romance to my getaway. And let's not forget the fireplace! Cozying up by the fire made me feel right at home. The manicured grounds were a treat for the eyes, with exotic flowers and the delightful chirping of birds. Exploring the surroundings, I even encountered some llamas, which added to the unique experience. Absolutely loved it!

our recent stay at puertolago country inn & resort in otavalo was simply amazing. the room was spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable. the beautiful building and stunning view added to the overall experience. we had a great time with our family, especially our four-year-old who loved the playground and llamas. the food was fantastic and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. we can't wait to visit again next year!

Everything was spot on.

Beautiful scenery and great food the views were breathtaking, especially the lake and mountains. the food at the hotel was also amazing, with a lot of variety and well presented. the location was convenient since there were several shops nearby where I could buy some souvenirs to take back home. the warm and clean surroundings of the hotel were certainly a plus.

Expensive rates and no heating the hotel was on the expensive side with no meals included. the rooms were also quite expensive and to top it off, there was no heating in the rooms!

Stayed here during Easter and had a great time. The cabins were cozy and clean. The view of the lake and mountain was breathtaking. Loved sitting on the porch and watching the birds. The restaurant had good food and the staff was helpful. Convenient location close to major routes and nearby attractions.

The Wi-Fi was only available in the main lodge and not in the cabins. Prices were a bit steep, especially for the food.

We had a wonderful stay at the lakeside lodge. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and attractively decorated. The showers had hot water and plenty of it. The views of the lake, with the mountains in the background, were stunning. We enjoyed relaxing on our private veranda and taking in the beautiful surroundings. The staff treated us like family, offering great dinner suggestions and even preparing delicious Swiss-inspired meals. The service was friendly and welcoming throughout our entire stay.

The hotel facilities closed early, leaving us without heating in our room on a cold night.
